The weekend brings a welcome return of quiet weather and extended sunshine! Abundant blue skies Saturday help us warm up to near 80 before a dry cold front moves in Sunday morning, putting our afternoon highs just a touch "cooler" in the mid 70s. Sunday and Monday morning look to run a little chilly as a result of the cold front moving in, but rain chances stay at zero.
Dry weather sticks around for much of next week, thanks to a ridge of high pressure settling in across the Southeast. If you think Saturday is on the warm side, just wait—next week looks to usher in some of the warmest air we've seen thus far this spring, with afternoon highs trending near the mid and upper 80s by midweek.
Unfortunately, the beautiful weather can't last forever—we're keeping an eye on the potential for showers moving in by next Friday, and could see those rain chances linger into next weekend. Bottom line: embrace this weekend's sunshine!
