Final day of testimony wraps up in 2014 Forsyth Street murder trial

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Monday is the final day of testimony in a 2014 murder trial.

Continuing from Friday, jurors were shown more of the police interrogation between Walker and detectives.

The prosecution maintains that the shooting was a direct result of an ongoing feud between Walker and another area man.

Stacey Jackson, who represents Walker as his defense attorney, is fighting back on any claims his client was involved in the fatal shooting.

Jackson maintains Walker was not involved despite what prosecutors call indisputable evidence from phone records, his DNA found on shell casings, and witnesses testimony.

Photographs from Facebook were also admitted as evidence as the trial comes to an end.

"This is the defendant. He's wearing all black and has a pistol in his hand," said Sgt. Dankey, lead investigator from the Columbus Police Department while on the witness stand.

Jackson says the photo is not relevant to the case and argues 'lack' of evidence in the case which has spanned over a week.

Walker faces multiple murder charges, aggravated assault, and use of a firearm during a crime.

Closing arguments will begin Tuesday at 9 a.m.
