AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - Millions of dollars are expected to be discussed at the Auburn City Council meeting Tuesday evening.
Part of the money would go towards a contract with a company to tear down the Auburn Baptist Ministry building. Where the building currently stands will soon be a parking deck that much of Auburn has anticipated.
City officials say a plan is in place if the building demolition gets approved.
"Once that comes down we already have architects working on a design for a new parking deck that will go up in its place. Between 12 and18 months, there will be a new parking deck," says Jim Buston, Auburn City Manager.
