2015 human-trafficking case closed after victims could not be reached to testify

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Three suspects in a Columbus human trafficking case are now free and the case is closed.

Deangelo Walker, Kimari Hill, and Byrshae McBride were arrested on sex trafficking charges following a raid at a home on Gleason Avenue in 2015.

The case ended without a trial after Assistant District Attorney, Mark Anthony, says they were not able to contact the victims to testify in court.

There were two victims ages 16 and 21 years old.
