The warm air isn't going anywhere for the rest of work weekend, and looks to turn a touch hotter for Thursday and Friday, as afternoon highs soar into the upper 80s. A few areas south could hit 90 by Friday afternoon.
Mostly sunny skies dominate until the weekend when a front approaching the Valley brings an increase in cloud cover during the day on Saturday. Overall, weekend rain chances still look unimpressive—at best, a 10% to squeeze out a shower late Saturday into Sunday.
Next week will still run on the warm side with mild mornings and highs topping out in the 80s; however, unlike this week, more clouds will enter the mix. The pattern looks a bit more reminiscent of summertime, with a chance for a stray shower or rumble of thunder each afternoon.
