Friday marks the warmest day of the work week with afternoon highs climbing into the upper 80s. And even a few 90 degree spots aren't totally out of the question!
The long stretch of mostly sunny skies gives way to an increase in cloud cover later Saturday as a front approaches north of the Valley. Saturday and Sunday still look to run above average, but the early part of next week looks seasonable with a mix of clouds and sun.
Unlike this past week, next week features a slim rain chance each day—around a 10 to 20% chance of seeing a stray shower or thunderstorm as a series of disturbances pass through the Southeast. Though we are still several days out, next weekend looks like it will run hot. Stay tuned!
