Meet 'Duk' - CSU's new police dog

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus State University has a new pair of eyes and paws keeping watch over students and faculty in town.

The university's police department officially welcomed "Duk" the police dog to its ranks on Friday.

"Duk" was sworn in after pledging to help maintain a drug-free campus at CSU.

Police say lieutenant K-9 "Duk" happily accepted his new responsibilities and a few belly rubs.

He started his first work day on Monday.
