COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Georgia's attorney general and a candidate running to be one of the top lawmakers in the state visited Columbus Tuesday.
Attorney General Chris Carr along with David Shafer, a Georgia state senator and candidate for lieutenant governor, were speakers at the Muscogee County Republican Party meeting.
Several other candidates were also in attendance.
"We're here in Columbus tonight doing some campaigning. We're meeting with the local GOP and encouraging folks to get out and vote," said Carr.
The meeting was held at Houlihan's located in the DoubleTree Hotel on Sidney Simons Boulevard.
