COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A man accused of killing his girlfriend and six-month-year old child and then setting their house on fire appeared before a judge Friday morning at a special status conference.
This has been a long overdue wait to determine when his trial will begin, and it has been confirmed that his trial will begin on October 1.
Conner is facing two counts of murder for the deaths of his son, 6-month old Dylan Conner, and Dylan's mother, Rosella Mitchell.
Mitchell was found stabbed to death inside her home.
Conner is also accused of one count of arson in the first degree after authorities believe he set their house on fire on Winifred Lane as a cover-up back in 2014.
At the time, News Leader 9 learned Conner worked at Davis Broadcasting as a programmer, according to his attorney and arrest reports we also know Mitchell was a previous employee of Davis.
