Thoughts on how to improve the community discussed at Columbus 2038 meeting

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Looking forward and preparing for the future is the goal of the Columbus 2038 series.

The series began last fall holding a meeting to hear citizens' thoughts and opinions on how the community can improve over the next 20 years.

A meeting was held at Old Town's community square building Tuesday. Housing, economic development, land issues, and transportation were among the topics discussed.

The next Columbus 2038 meeting will be held Thursday, May 17 at Shirley Winston Recreation Center on Steam Mill Road.
