NIM hosts free kids Summer Film Fest

The National Infantry Museum Foundation and the Muscogee Moms will be bringing back the NIM Kids Summer Film Fest.

The date for the event is June 5 through July 21 in the museum’s Giant Screen Theatre. This is a free event where families can enjoy film favorites all summer long.

There will be screenings of 12 different family-friendly movies shown every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Well-known children characters Woody, Horton, Boss Baby, Miguel, along with others will join in the fun as kids enjoy watching the big screen. Sensory- friendly screenings will take place on Wednesdays allowing kids bothered by noises and darkness to enjoy a big screen outing.

Admission for both children and adults is free. The theatre fills up quickly so guest will want to arrive early. The concession stand will have a wide variety of snacks and light lunches for sale.
