Though Thursday starts off on the drier side, the afternoon still holds the opportunity for another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop through the heat of the day. Coverage doesn’t look quite as impressive as Wednesday, but a 50% chance of rain still holds true this afternoon and evening. Friday rain chances look a touch (60%) better before dropping a bit over the weekend.

Nevertheless, the pattern remains the same: unsettled, warm, and humid. Mostly cloudy skies dominate through the end of the work week, before partly sunny skies take over for the weekend. Low 80s continue to Friday, but with a little more sunshine in the mix, mid-upper 80s aren’t out of the question again over the weekend.

Next week keeps decent rain chances (40-60%) in the forecast, with warm air and clouds staying put.
