Friday brings another warm and muggy day with scattered showers and thunderstorms for some in the afternoon. Overall, rain coverage doesn't look quite as impressive as we head into the weekend versus what we saw earlier this week, but everyone stands a 40-50% of some rumbles of thunder in the afternoon with the heating of the day.
Due to lower rain chances, more sunshine should break through the clouds, bumping afternoon highs into the mid-upper 80s. Since the muggy air refuses to budge, afternoons will feel akin to 90 degree heat. Next week, expect more of the same: an unsettled pattern featuring warm and humid days with scattered rain and thunderstorm coverage, lingering toward Memorial Day weekend.
When it's not raining, you'll almost hope for a thundershower to pop up to cool you off!
