HOGANSVILLE, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus man is facing several charges following a traffic stop in Hogansville Tuesday night.
Derrick A. Jackson, 34, is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and cocaine. He was also cited for driving on a suspended driver's license and suspended registration.
Jackson is in the Troup County Jail.
The traffic stop happened shortly before 7 p.m. as a Hogansville police officer was running a radar on Interstate 85. The officer 's license plate reader alerted him to the car Jackson was driving which had a suspended registration.
Police seized over 91.5 pounds of marijuana and nearly two pounds of cocaine during the traffic stop. It was also determined that Jackson was driving with a suspended license.
The incident remains under investigation.
