TCSO arrest 2 men on drug-related charges

TROUP COUNTY, GA (WTVM) – The Troup County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men on drug-related charges.

On May 26, a deputy stopped a vehicle on I-85 traveling at 100 miles per hour.

After making contact with the driver, Jonathan Hurt, 26, and the passenger, Timothy Willeman, 21, it was determined that they were in possession of various illegal narcotics.

Both the driver and passenger were taken into custody and transported to the Troup County Jai.

Hurt was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a schedule two narcotic (Adderall), possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce, driving on a suspended driver’s license, speeding, and a seat belt violation.

Willeman was charged with possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce.
