COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Willy's Mexicana Grill is partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of the Chattahoochee Valley to raise $23,000 in 23 days.
The campaign will begin on Friday, June 1 through June 23. All funds will support the BGCCV's Workforce Development Program.
This initiative will give high school students the experiences, skills, and knowledge that will prepare them for successful careers. BCCCV hosted a "spirit night" Tuesday, June 5
"We're grateful to be the benefactor of this campaign. It's going to go from June 1st on through the 23rd and we're here tonight just to promote the event and just the awareness of our clubs in the community," said Sarrah Cuevas, vice president of marketing and development with BGCCV.
In their fourth year, Willy's has raised almost $67,000 ensuring our youth and teens to reach their full potential as responsible, caring, productive citizens.
Another spirit night will be held June 19.
The restaurant is encouraging club members, parents, staff, alumni and supports to come to support BGCCV by attending one of these special nights.
Willy's will ask their customers to donate $5 and in return, they will provide a $5 coupon for guests to use at their next visit.
"Donate $5 and in return, you get a $5coupon. All of the proceeds go towards the boys and girls clubs," said Shai Carter, general manager of Willy's Mexicana Grill.
Coupons will be valid at all Willy's Mexicana Grill locations except the location within the Atlanta-Hartsfield Jackson Airport.
Willy's Mexicana Grill is also partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, Athens, and Bartow County for the $23K in 23 days campaign.
