A welcome change in the weather pattern kicks off Monday thanks to a front that moved through overnight, ushering in a refreshing dose of drier air and sunshine. Although highs will still manage to climb to near 90, the first half of the week will be nowhere near as humid as late, and instead much more comfortable.
Later in the week, a surge of moisture makes its way back into the Valley, much more reminiscent of a typical summertime pattern: highs in the low 90s, muggy, and partly cloudy. Rain chances take a backseat for the next few days, but return by the weekend; however, they look nowhere near as overwhelming as the recent wet pattern.
Expect 20-40% coverage of showers and thunderstorms beginning Saturday into early next week.
