COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM)- The Miss Georgia Pageant will celebrate seventy- four years, June 12-16, in the Bill Heard Theatre at RiverCenter for the Performing Arts in historic Uptown Columbus, Georgia.

Ninety-nine women, from across the state will compete for academic scholarships and the titles of Miss Georgia 2018 and Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen 2018.

    The winners will represent Georgia at the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City in September and Miss America’s Outstanding Teen in Orlando in August.

    Tickets may be purchased online or at the RiverCenter Box Office at 706-256-3612 or on the RiverCenter website.

    The list of events will kick off June 9 with the “Miss Georgia Uptown Celebration”

    • “Meet the Crowns” 6 p.m. at the RiverCenter Lobby
    • “Miss Georgia Parade” 7 p.m. in Uptown Columbus
