COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A tour that highlights Georgia's energy outlook is making its way back to the Fountain City.
With gas prices on the rise, this year's Clean Energy Roadshow will feature fuel alternatives for businesses and consumers, and will also showcase alternative fuel vehicles.
The event will feature a panel of speakers from Georgia Power, Liberty Utilities, and other natural gas suppliers.
Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols says the event is a good way to preview Georgia's energy landscape.
" You're not only going to get to see all fuel vehicles both natural gas and electric vehicles, you're going to get to hear how they can benefit you or your company, your entity, organization, and you as a commuter. You'll also see how solar energy efficiency is really changing the energy landscape here Georgia, " says Echols.
The Clean Energy Roadshow will kick off at Liberty Utilities in Columbus at 7:30 a.m. After its stop in Columbus, the tour will go to Savannah, Duluth, and Atlanta.
