Clouds hanging out in the Chattahoochee Valley diminish by the afternoon, as abundant sunshine settles in for the remainder of the day. Sunny skies will help boost our temperatures back into the low 90s, though fortunately humidity levels continue to run low; however, gradually we will turn muggier as we head into the weekend, with a more typical summertime pattern returning.
Low 90s stick around for the weekend, with a few more clouds in the mix and rain chances back in the forecast. Beginning Friday, each afternoon brings a 20-30% coverage of a few thunderstorms through the early part of the weekend. Then slightly better coverage for next week, as more moisture works its way back into the Valley.
Enjoy one last day of the pleasant air mass—it was nice while is lasted! Thursday will bring us one more cool morning, at least.
