Columbus police release surveillance photos of alleged Family Dollar thief

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police are searching for a man seen on camera throwing a piece of concrete through a business' front door.

Detectives released surveillance photos of the suspect, who they say broke into the Family Dollar store on Victory Dr. in late May.

Once inside, he reportedly filled the bag with nearly $400 worth of cigarette lighters before leaving.

Anyone who recognizes this man is asked to call Columbus police.
