Some of us got a taste of the 90s yesterday, but the summertime heat is back in full force across the Valley today, making for a hot Thursday. Low—if not mid!—90s on tap as we head into the afternoon, thanks to abundant sunshine.
Unfortunately, humidity levels will slowly creep back up as we head into the weekend, as more moisture settles back into the Southeast. So, the cool mornings of late fade away as milder and muggier air works its way back into the picture. Rain chances also return to the forecast on Friday, and gradually increase into next week, switching from isolated to more scattered coverage each afternoon.
Overall, next week looks very run-of-the-mill for early June: hot, humid, and showers and thunderstorms developing during the heat of the day.
