COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Twin Cedars Youth & Family Services celebrated the grand opening of its new building in Downtown Columbus.
A ribbon cutting was held Friday at the building located at 1225 3rd Avenue.
Twin Cedars provides a variety of services designed to empower children, youth, and families to achieve their optimum potential. During the past 20 years,
Twin Cedars has expanded its presence in Columbus by adding community-based programs to its list of services. These programs specialize in serving children who have been traumatized, placed in foster care, or need ongoing counseling.
"We are now all in one location if a child has had a forensic interview and needs therapy. We have therapists in this building now, said Sheri Cody, the executive director of Twin Cedars.
There are currently 47 children in multiple counties who are served by the Therapeutic Foster Care Program operated by Twin Cedars.
