COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Miss Georgia contestants visited children in the hospital, and it hit close to home for one Columbus family whose daughter was recently diagnosed with Osteomyelitis, a bone infection.

After days of not knowing why their daughter, Hannah, was limping with a fever, the family relied on prayers and support from their family and friends.

On Thursday morning, the Miss Georgia contestants visited Hannah and graced her with a song, “Let it Go” from Frozen, and spent time with her. This also brought joy and encouragement to her parents Jonathan and Natalie Keller.

“With so many friends praying that live all over Georgia it was like they each got to represent someone special all in one room, Natalie said.

Despite this sudden diagnosis, Hannah has been in good spirits.

“I learn to recognize where fear comes from and choose not to accept it. It’s in these moments as a parent my faith grows. I know God is taking care of His child and I trust in His plan,” Natalie says.

Hannah was even given her own little crown by the Miss Georgia ladies that read, “beautiful Hannah.”

The contestants will compete for the Miss Georgia crown on Saturday, June 16.
