Several arrested following drug bust in Lanett, AL

LANETT, AL (WTVM) – The Chambers County Drug Task Force and the Lanett Police Department have been investigating several individuals for allegations of unlawfully distributing controlled substances.

Over the course of the investigation, evidence supported the allegations and a search warrant for 1116 East 1st Ave. was obtained.

On Wednesday, June 13, agents from the Chambers County Drug Task Force and the Lanett Police Department discovered 35 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, six firearms and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The following people were arrested and charged:

  • Travis Yamawn Little – Charged with Methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Ricky Lewis Banks – Charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Nathaniel Ray Hammett -  Charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Tammy Capri Phillips - Charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Nikki Kate McCarley - Charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • April Nicole Fulghm - Charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia
