COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Farrfield Manor Senior Apartments in Columbus hosted its second fashion show for its residents Friday.

The last time such an event was held at the apartments was in 2010.

Six residents participated in the show and Ms. Mamie Whatley was named the winner.

"Just to let people know that even seniors can have fun and we do like to strut. We like to show off and you know I've got a few names for one lady that's sitting over there, I call her Mrs. T. She's from Texas and she's always in some fashion," said resident Johnny Mae Flournoy.

The late Ms. Emma Taylor was the winner of the 2010 fashion show and was awarded flowers as her prize.
