COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Police Department seized a bottle of liquid hydrocodone valued at almost $3,000 in a July 29 traffic stop.
According to police reports, officers observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane while children were running in and out of the street and conducted a traffic stop.
Police arrested 41-year-old Shanta Wooten after finding a bottle of liquid hydrocodone with 112 doses, valued at $25 per dose for a total of $2,800, 9.1 grams of marijuana with a street value of $91 and a digital scale.
Wooten has been charged with possession of hydrocodone with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects, open container of alcohol and failure to maintain lanes.
He currently sits in the Muscogee County Jail.
