St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School in Columbus hosted its annual drop-in family rosary and prayer walk Friday.
Students, their families, and the public were invited to walk the campus at their own pace to pray at the start of the new school year.
Participants prayed for the safety of students, teachers, and staff.
Ronie Collins, the school’s principal, said he can’t think of a day without prayer.
“It’s just knowing that God is so much bigger than we are. All good things come from him and that we thank him for those,” said Collins.
The prayer walk is also a way to give thanks to those who are supporting the school’s efforts to the $7 million Building on Tradition – A Vision for the Future capital campaign.
