Schools in Chambers County were in their second day of class Friday.
School safety, advancing education, and accommodating teachers with tools they need are just some of what administrators say they are working on for the new school year.
There are 11 schools in the district and in each school, educators say they are concentrating on relationships with students and parents along with keeping students engaged.
Superintendent Dr. Kelli Hodge says as the years go on, the district’s focus remains on the students.
She went on the say she wants to make sure parents are cautious when taking their children to and from school as roads are busier with buses and traffic this time of the year.
