Artist gearing up for hair painting performance at the Columbus Museum

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - An artist from Alabama uses a creative way to express himself through his paintings.

Jarrett Key uses his hair to create paintings. He now lives in New York where he does live performances to music that he also creates.

Key said paintings help him relax and feel great.

"For me as an artist that started in performing, theater, and in music, I've found myself in visual arts and fine arts. The hair painting feels like the best way to express myself and to use all the various skills and talent that I have been giving," said Key.

Key will be performing at the Columbus Museum Friday as part of the Young Artist Patriots event.

He said he is extremely excited to be performing and his friends and family will be attending. The event is open to the public and free to attend.
