LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) - The Boy Scouts of America Chattahoochee Council is working to help evacuees coming to the area to escape the storm.
The organization has opened the Frank Lumpkin campground in LaGrange to house evacuees for free. The shelter consists of an air-conditioned bunkhouse, a cafeteria with an industrial kitchen and campgrounds.
The shelter housed over 100 evacuees during hurricane Irma and is preparing to help anyone that shows up in the next few days.
