Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis begins typically between the ages of 35 & 45.  Common symptoms include morning stiffness pain when moving the joint and swelling of one or more joints.  In more advanced stages of Rheumatoid Arthritis, there are distortions of the hands and fingers.

Rheumatoid Arthritis is a disease that involves the chronic inflammation of connective tissues of the entire body.  The body chemistry of the connective tissues is altered with this disease.  It usually appears after the body has had overwhelming stress.  By correcting spinal problems that are caused by stress, Dr. Taylor may break the stress cycle.  If Rheumatoid Arthritis is already present, chiropractic care can help improve the function of the immune system & adrenal glands to assist in the control of pain & inflammation.
