Natson Eludes Death Penalty

A federal jury could reach a verdit in the trial of convicted killer Michael Natson.

He was found guilty on Friday for the 2003 murder of Ardena Carter.

The pregnant college student was shot in the head and her body left in a remote area of Fort Benning.

Natson now faces life behind bars without parole because a federal jury could not reach a verdict on a murder count, Monday afternoon.

Judgements for the other two counts: Murder with a firearm and Fedicide are unknown at this time.
