MONTGOMERY, Tuesday, May 08, 2007 - Motorists will face delays after the morning rush hour Wednesday on Interstate 85 South for guardrail repairs in Macon County.
Alabama Department of Transportation workers will close the southbound left (inside) lane approximately one mile north of Exit 38. The lane closure will not begin until after 8:30 a.m. to avoid impacting the heavy flow of morning commuter traffic toward Montgomery.
The guardrail repairs are expected to end by 1 p.m. Wednesday. The public is urged to be cautious in this area and to expect traffic delays.
