A Russell County teacher facing charges of sexual abuse spent Tuesday afternoon in court.
Sebastian Moore is accused of fondling a then 17-year old special needs student at Russell County Middle School in April of 2006. The victim took the stand this afternoon, giving her account on what happened.
The defense does not think her testimony adds up. "Well I've said in the courtroom she's lying. If you say one time it happen on Monday and another time Tuesday, one way or another you are lying. However, soon it will be up to the jury to decide," said Defense Attorney Don Eddins.
The Assistant District Attorney Max Smith declined to comment, until after the trial. Moore has been on administrative leave since August of last year.
