Grumbling AT&T Customers - Update

If you are an AT&T customer, and your trying to make a call in Columbus, you might have to use pay phone.

A spokesperson tells us, Tuesday afternoon, a contractor severed two underground fiberoptic cables.

Thus, interrupting service for a few thousand customers in Smiths Station, Ladonia, Phenix City, and parts of Columbus and Fort Benning.

Crews are currently working to correct the problem... phone service should be restored by 11 PM Wednesday.
