On Saturday, three agencies took part in a thorough Zero Tolerance Operation.
The agencies included, the Muscogee County Sheriff's Office, the Columbus Police Department, and the Georgia State Patrol.
Four check points were set up across Columbus.
As a result, close to 700 traffic citations and stops were conducted. More than 200 were caught speeding.
Here's a break down:Seatbelt Citations: 109 citations Child Restraints: 18 citations Speeding: 232 citations DUI: 16 arrests Habitual Violators: 3 arrests Other citations: 311 others Total 689 cases
