Remembering September 11

An event six years ago sparked a war against terror.

On September 11, 2001, close to 3,000 people were killed in terrorist attacks in New York City, Pennsylvania, and at the Pentagon.

President Bush has already asked that people around the nation remember with gratitude the couragous firefighters, police officers, and citizens who stepped in to save hundreds after four hijacked commercial airplanes crashed at the three sites listed above.

Soldiers from Fort Benning and across the nation are sacrificing for our freedom. Please send in your e-mail of appreciation as well as your stories on the day that rocked a nation.

Your comments will be posted on our Remembering September 11 Page and could even be featured in our newscasts on September 11, 2007.
