State prosecutors have filed their finals papers with the Alabama Supreme Court.

Now it's up to the justices to decide where the accused double-murderer will go on trial.

Springord's attorney convinced a local circuit court judge to move the case to Birmingham.

The lawyers cited widespread media coverage.

Prosecutors appealed, saying Judge William Shashy never polled potential jurors to see if the coverage biased them against Springford.

No word on when the court will issue a decision, but both sides asked for a quick ruling, because the trial is set for January 7th in Birmingham.

Springford is accused of killing his parents in November of 2004.
