Busiest Day of the Year - Take our web poll

Dec. 17, 2007

COLUMBUS, Ga (WTVM) - With more than a week left until Christmas, stores won't be the only places with crowds.

You might want to steer clear of the post office. Monday is supposed to be a postmaster's busiest day.

More than a billion cards, letters, and packages will hit the mail pile.

To accomodate the crowds, many post offices across the nation are extending hours of operation.
