I hope your week is getting off to a good start.  I started my day in the gym this morning by actually doing a full 45 minutes on the treadmill.  There were times I wanted to stop but after meeting some incredible ladies last week I had to keep going.   They workout at the Junction City Volunteer Fire Department and told me after seeing  "Get Moving" they were inspired to keep moving.  When I began this segment last year, I never thought people would actually get motivated by this segment.  I first met Lisa Armour and Stephanie Smith at WTVM's Health Expo about two weeks ago.  They told me they both began an exercise regimen in April 2007.  They say from the beginning it was hard and they even cried sometimes about if they would make it to the finishline.  Both women told me when they saw the "Get Moving" segment last year in August...it was a breath of encouragement for them.  So far both Lisa and Stephanie have lost, what I want to call an extreme amount of weight.  Lisa has lost about 44 pounds and Stephanie 36 pounds. 

They say they both still want to lose more weight, and they are at their halfway points.  When I first heard their story I almost began to cry because they have worked so hard.  Right now, they are encouraging their family and friends to live healthier and get in shape.  They both say they feel great and are happier.

If you have any good recipes, weight loss tips, or even motivational poems/messages...send them my way.  I really need them right now as I push towards my goal.  I am praying I reach my goal by early summer.  I want to show off my new physique on the beach.
