Crime Stoppers and the Columbus Police Department are looking for information concerning the Armed Robbery of an individual.

The Crime:   On January 12, 2008 at 1:45 a.m., the Columbus 911 Center dispatched a patrol officer to 2536 Airport Thruway, the Circle K convenience store in reference to a theft/robbery.  The officer met with the victim who reported that as he approached the store, a white female stopped him and asked him to give her $10.00 for gas. The victim reported that the female then asked him to sit in her truck. Once inside the truck, a black female grabbed him from behind.  Once restrained, the white female removed a large sum of money from the victim's pocket. 

The two women left the store in a white Isuzu Rodeo with a dealer tag.  The car did not have a spare tire on the rear holder.    

Suspect Information:

Suspect #1

Investigators have identified and charged the white female suspect in this case.  The second suspect remains at large. 

Suspect #2

Cheryl Patterson, Black Female, Approx. 54 years of age.  Last known address 2505 Chandler Road, Grayson, GA., 3907 Leisure St., Decatur, GA.  Subject has several aliases.  She is known to frequent well-known areas of prostitution and drug sales/usage.  Cheryl has several scars on her body, to include scars on her left and right hands, face, head, chin, right arm, and a noticeable disfigurement on her face.

If you have any information concerning this case or any other criminal activity, please contact the Crime Stoppers Unit at 706-653-3188.  If your information leads to an arrest and indictment, you could receive a reward of up to $1,000.00 and you do not have to give your name. 

The Crime Stoppers Lines are manned from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., callers calling after business hours are asked to leave a brief message contact the office the next business day for further information.

    Police are investigating a shooting Saturday night at a Columbus apartment complex. According to police reports, the shooting happened Saturday night around 7 at the Ballard Way Apartment at 5600 Hunter Road.
