From time to time the Inspector General's office will initiate stings of repeat offenders.

How often do inspectors complete inspections of each salon?

There is no required minimum or maximum number of inspections.

O.C.G.A. 43-10-5(c): "Any inspector employed by the division director shall have the power to enter and make reasonable examination of any beauty shop, salon, and school in the state during business hours for the purpose of enforcing the rules and regulations of the board and for the purpose of ascertaining the sanitary conditions thereof."
