Small County has Big Plans in Education

Could you imagine growing up in a county that doesn't have a high school? Chattahoochee county citizens have done this for the past 39 years. But all that is going to change in the year 2005. The county plans to build a state-of-the-art high school. Once it's built students won't have to commute to another county just to go to school, or to get involved in after school activities. It's a project many citizens here are proud of. The 155-acre site has already been secured. Construction should start by the end of 2003 and the doors will open by 2005.

In the meantime, a new recreation center is almost ready to open in the county. The building will be a place kids and adults, alike can go to unwind. It's complete with basketball courts, meeting rooms and a retractable stage for plays and pageants. The doors should swing open by the end of the year.
