cientists have long known a good night's sleep helps people with their memory skills. But a group of German researchers say that's not all. According to researchers at the University of  Lu-bik restful sleep helps people learn new motor skills more easily. In their study, scientists taught students different finger-tapping sequences. Students who got eight hours of sleep performed 35-percent faster and made 30-percent fewer errors than those who were kept awake for eight hours.
