Bill Heard Closes Its Doors

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WXTX) - After several emergency meetings, WXTX has learned that all employees at Bill Heard were terminated as of Wednesday afternoon.

Employees were advised to pick up their paychecks Thursday. Bill Heard Enterprise consists of 13 dealerships and about 3,500 employees.

About 350 employees at the Columbus location are left jobless.

Meanwhile, Consumer Affairs says if a consumer has a complaint regarding Bill Heard Enterprises or its business practices, they would need to call it's hotline at 1-800-869-1123.
