COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -- You normally have to spend money when you ship something off, but on this day Nathaniel Dukes is actually making money.

"They send a check right to your house." Dukes is talking about a buy back program with an online textbook store. He says he not only saves money by purchasing the books online, but he makes money in return by sending them back, and he doesn't even have to pay for shipping.

Sites like the one Dukes used,, are great for college students, but all of you other book worms out there, is the place to go. You simply gather up all your books, put in the ISBN numbers and you'll get cash for them.

If you're not quite as tech savvy, there are still other ways to save on those books you can't wait to read. The Book House in Columbus also has a buy back program where readers get half the amount back when the book is returned. The store has everything from children's books to fiction and non-fiction, plus customers can order just about anything.
