Enterprise shootings leaves 1 dead, 1 wounded

ENTERPRISE, AL - Enterprise police have apprehended a 20-year-old man wanted for murder and attempted murder. Police Captain Mike Lolley, a spokesman, said Christopher Drew McCray was placed into custody Thursday afternoon.

He said McCray is suspected of shooting two men at an apartment just after midnight on New Year's Day. Lolley said 30-year-old Tori Maurice Jones of Enterprise was shot to death.

A second man, 26-year-old George Presley, was treated for a gunshot wound to the head. Presley's wound was not considered life threatening. No motive was given.
