RUSSELL COUNTY, AL (WTVM) -  We have new information tonight in a double murder case out of East Alabama.

Brandon Hall and Terrance Mays have been indicted for capital murder in the death of Monique Reid and Quincy Davidson.

The victim's bodies were found in their home off Highway 80 back in July.

Investigators say both victims were shot, but Reid was also strangled and stabbed twenty times by Hall.

Both suspects told police they had intended to rob Davidson.

Today, Hall and Mays were denied youthful offender status by a Russell County Circuit Court judge.

Now, they will be tried as adults and the proceedings will be public record.

We're told a trial date has not been set.
