COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Last month News Leader Nine told you about 7-year-old Maegan Johnson who was diagnosed with a ruptured brain aneurysm. Her parents are currently with her at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta and the medical bills are piling up, but community members are teaming up to host a benefit for the Johnson family later this week.

Great Championship Wrestling and other businesses in the area are putting on a Benefit for Maegan Johnson on Thursday, February 12th at the GR8 SK8 Plex in Phenix City. There will be a wrestling match and a silent auction with 100 percent of the proceeds going to help the Johnson family. The event starts at 7:30 and tickets are $10 at the door.
